Project

MAS-Society

Name
Multi-Agent Systems SemantiC Interoperability for simulation and dEcision supporT in complex energY systems

Description
The MAS-Society project will provide effective solutions to enable the dissemination of distributed energy resources, namely renewable generation, demand response, storage systems, and electric vehicles, with the aim of capturing their potential to increase global energy efficiency and economic and energy sustainability. MAS-Society designs and develops an ontology-based knowledge model for the representation of domain concepts, considering business models, market models, and entities considered. The ontology allows the use of inference mechanisms for the automatic extraction of new knowledge, and will support the communication between the considered systems and applications. The multi-agent systems approach will also be used, incorporating a set of advanced context-dependent decision support models and methods.
