Description
This is a project of consultancy for Honda Research Institute (HRI) in Europe provided by GECAD. Collaborative projects with HRI Europe have focused on building energy management, electric vehicles and energy sharing. Scalable classical and evolutionary optimization approaches, centralized and decentralized, have been used. Recently, we have investigated issues of fairness and equity in algorithms in energy systems, more specifically in local energy markets, microgrids and energy communities. We are currently working on the optimal organization of energy communities using scalable methods and with technical, economic and social/fairness constraints.
