Description
GID-Microrede is financed by QREN and has 3 partners involved, the total duration is 24 months. The project is part of SEAS – Smart Energy Aware Systems, reference 12004, under the European ITEA2 program. GID project proposes a distributed approach to manage the energy resources of a microgrid. The use of microgrids has been gaining strength in the respective literature and academic community, providing numerous benefits to the electric distribution network. The microgrids increase the electrical network reliability and reduce the impact caused by network faults.
