GECAD is participating in the CYTED thematic network – Network for large-scale integration of renewable energy into electrical systems – (P722RT0026 RIBIERSE-CYTED – https://www.cyted.org/node/13363) – coordinated by Jesus de la Casa Hernandez (University of Jaen – Spain). The RIBIERSE belongs to the Energy thematic line, more specifically, in line 7.1 Hybridization and integration on a large scale of renewable energies in electrical systems in Ibero-american regions.
The fund was awarded last month in the CYTED extraordinary meeting – https://www.cyted.org/es/agext2023). The network is composed by 18 countries, 40 research groups and 207 researchers (https://www.cyted.org/723RT0150.-%20Integrantes).
RIBIERSE’s main goal is to establish a solid, multidisciplinary environment for collaborative research and knowledge generation within the framework of renewable distributed electrical generation in the electrical system. The Red will focus on the incorporation of renewable technologies and ‘E-mobility’ into the electrical mix through the technical and methodological training of providers and users, as well as the dissemination of best practices.
