Agenda GreenAuto

Description
The GreenAuto Agenda aims to transform the national automotive industry, in the context of the current transition to low-emission vehicles. To this end, it proposes the creation of technical and operational conditions so that Stellantis Mangualde can start the production of a new light commercial vehicle (LCV) in Portugal, namely a battery electric light commercial vehicle (BE-LCV), simultaneously ensuring a high level of of national incorporation. To achieve this objective, 10 work packages (WP) were designed: WP1 focuses on preparing the factory for the production of the BE-LCV; WP2 to 7 focus on the development of innovative components and systems for electric vehicles (e.g. energy efficient systems, lighter components); WP 8 to 10 focus on the development of productive technology (e.g. collaborative robotics, inspection systems) that allow lowering the cost of producing electric vehicles, which is still higher than the cost of manufacturing thermal vehicles.
