Bridiging the gap between students competences and working life needs
Description
The HEIComp project – Bridging the Gap between Student Competences and Working Life Needs involves partners from Finland, Portugal, Romania, Brazil, and Paraguay. The project is inspired by the Working Life Connected (WLC) teaching method, which encourages student involvement in developing solutions to real challenges in real organizations during their studies. The teacher develops guidelines and tools that transform their role from teacher to advisor, expanding their range of skills. Thus, the project promotes the modernization of the educational system in educational institutions in Latin America, developing curricula appropriately to respond to the demands of professional life.
